Job and workplace
Fired, or salary not paid
You can prepare on your own, but a lawyer will improve your chances.
Workers can challenge an unfair dismissal and recover unpaid wages. The usual route is a written grievance to the employer first, then the Labour Court if it is not resolved. Time limits are short, so act within weeks. Old-age benefits are with EOBI, which you can contact directly.
The law
Provincial Industrial Relations Acts (grievance procedure); Payment of Wages Act 1936; EOBI Act 1976
